![]() The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. ![]() I also, on hearing of this faith of yours in the Lord Jesus, and that for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention in my prayers that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may be giving you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the realization of Him, the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, for you to perceive what is the expectation of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of the enjoyment of His allotment among the saints, and what the transcendent greatness of His power for us who are believing, in accord with the operation of the might of His strength, which is operative in the Christ, rousing Him from among the dead and seating Him at His right hand among the celestials, up over every sovereignty and authority and power and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this eon, but also in that which is impending: and subjects all under His feet, and gives Him, as Head over all, to the ecclesia which is His body, the complement of the One completing the all in all. (Ephesians 1:15-22 CLNT) On this behalf am I bowing my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, after Whom every kindred in the heavens and on earth is being named, that He may be giving you, in accord with the riches of His glory, to be made staunch with power, through His spirit, in the man within, Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, having been rooted and grounded in love, should be strong to grasp, together with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and depth and height -- to know the love of Christ as well which transcends knowledge -- that you may be completed for the entire complement of God. Now to Him Who is able to do superexcessively above all that we are requesting or apprehending, according to the power that is operating in us, to Him be glory in the ecclesia and in Christ Jesus for all the generations of the eon of the eons! Amen! (Ephesians 3:14-21 CLNT) ![]()
![]() “Dr. Barth, on behalf of the hundreds of students here, I want to ask you this one question. Of all the theological insights you have ever had, which do you consider to be the greatest of them all? Wow... If you had been asked that question, how would you answer? I hope you enjoy this short little story about Karl Barth giving his answer to a group of seminary students. If you are blessed by this, please share it with others. This is a fun little video Tanya helped me put together a few months ago. Click the lower right corner to watch in full screen.. Enjoy! By the way, the music is Béla Fleck & The Flecktones. ![]() "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (Paul writing to Timothy) I pray you are blessed, encouraged, and challenged by this short message. If you are, please share it with others. Be blessed! ![]()
![]() Three of the hardest words for any of us to say are “I WAS WRONG.” It's especially difficult when it comes to admitting we have been wrong about something we’ve been loudly spouting off for years… and years… and years… I pray that this audio blesses and challenges you and me as we humbly seek GOD together. ![]() What if you and I don't know as much as we think we know? Are we humble enough to admit we each have a lot to learn? What if we discover we've been wrong about some things? What if we are wrong about big things? Are we willing to re-shape our thinking according to truth? These are questions I've been considering and asking myself. I hope you enjoy the short video below. |
